Background and Partner Organisation
Brot für die Welt (BfdW) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) and an agency of the Protestant churches, working together with local partner organizations to promote global justice, peace, and education, and to fight hunger and poverty. The Liaison Office (VEST) of the “South America” department of BfdW in Peru manages projects and supports dialogue and advisory processes aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity of Bread for the World’s partner organizations in Peru and Bolivia.
Local partner organizations are facing the challenge of increasingly limited government and international funding. This is where your role as an international professional at the VEST in Peru comes in: You will actively contribute to building and strengthening the capacities of VEST staff and partner organizations in Peru and Bolivia, working jointly to enable partner organizations to increase the visibility and future viability of their important work—through effective public relations and financial sustainability.
The position is located in Lima, Peru. The head of the VEST is responsible for administrative and technical supervision.
